Our tuckpointing crews saw-cut or grind failed joints to proper depth, clean the joint, and pack new mortar that matches the original in strength, color, composition, and texture. We do not over-pack joints, use mortar that is stronger than the adjacent masonry, or skip the backer-rod staging required for deep joint remediation.

Selective Brick & Block Replacement

Spalled, cracked, or mechanically failed masonry units are removed and replaced with matching units — sourced to match the original in size, color, texture, and coefficient of thermal expansion wherever historic preservation is required or visual match is specified.

Thru-Wall Flashing Installation

Thru-wall flashing is the single most important water management component in a cavity wall assembly — and among the most frequently absent or failed elements in older commercial buildings. We install new thru-wall flashing systems using copper, stainless, or rubberized asphaltic flashing materials, integrated with weep holes and appropriate sealant terminations to direct water out of the wall cavity.

Lintel & Shelf Angle Repair

Steel lintels and shelf angles embedded in masonry walls are subject to corrosion-induced expansion that fractures the surrounding masonry.
